Nanyang Danjiang River Solar Cooker Project Phase I
This region is ideal for the use of solar energy. The project covers the distribution and installation of 48,000 solar cooker sets for rural households.
The daylight range of each solar cooker is at least 1.7 m and the rated output is 773.5 watts.
The total nominal and maximum installed capacity of the project is 37.128 MWth and 42.073 MWth respectively.
Schramme is Certified as "Climate Neutral" in 2020/21
The cookers are distributed to 172,8061 users/residents. To date, these approx. 48,000 households have cooked with water and coal stoves.
The project enables rural households to efficiently replace fossil fuels (coal) used in the daily cooking of water and food with solar energy, thereby avoiding CO2 emissions that would result from the use of fossil fuels.
It is estimated that 90,204 tons of CO2 emission reductions will be achieved annually.
