Personio - the new HR software at Magnetbau Schramme

We interviewed Silke Hannig, our HR manager at Schramme, about Personio!

Why did Magnetbau Schramme choose Personio as its HR tool - there are so many other software solutions available?‎ 

Before implementing Personio, we did an extensive "beauty contest" - looking at a number of HR solutions. Since Personio was able to offer the most features in the end, we decided to go with this solution. Decisive features were, among others, the interface to DATEV (payroll program) and ATOSS (time recording system), as well as the extensive possibilities along the employee life cycle.

When did the project with Personio start and where are we currently?

We started the pre-selection process in the fall of 2022 - implementation started in January 2023. 12 weeks later, the system was largely implemented.

Currently we are using Personio for preparatory payroll, onboarding, maintaining all HR master data & managing all employee specific documents. The next step is to invite all employees to the system and have department managers use the features.

What does Personio mean for Magnetbau Schramme / HR department?

Personio is another step towards digitization and process optimization in HR. In the long term, it will eliminate paper personnel files and facilitate the daily management of all employee issues.

Which functions / features bring us the most?

Fast access to all master data of an employee, such as the personnel number, the tax number, up to all employee-specific documents.

Salary statements are automatically transferred from DATEV to the employee profiles in Personio via an interface on a monthly basis.

Describe in a few words a working day with Personio?

In the morning I call up the Personio web-based page, which is open all day in my browser. Personio accompanies me in all HR processes in my daily work. Especially during the monthly payroll I spend a lot of time in Personio.
